Hi there! I've recently adopted the Isshuukan Friends Wiki and am interested in affiliating with your wiki, as Oregairu is also an anime produced by Brain's Base. If you find the affiliation agreeable, you may access the wordmark to the Wiki through this link . I will add your Wiki's logo to the home page in return. Thank you.
I'm not sure if merging all of them into just a single page is a good idea, it mignt be too long. How about merging them based on the type of the content so we can cut the number down from the current 12 pages to about 4 - 5 pages?
I checked new policies, and I have the following suggestion: I'd merge Conduct Guidelines and Enforcement Policy to one page. You can remove "Protection" section -- it's used quite rarely, and only by admins. Otherwise, it looks good.
Hey! Your wiki is in great shape and new content will surely appear with Season 3. Because of the new season, me as your Wiki Manager and Unok from the Content Team would like to help out and do some fixes.
Some pages might need more content, the main page could get some links to Season 3 information, the top navigation too. We'll go through the wiki and see if anything else needs fixing.
We'd like to ask you if you're okay with that. Also, if you have any requests or need help with anything specific at the wiki.
Thank you. Can I ask for one more thing as well? The top part of the episodes list page is quite messy at the moment. I want to keep the episodes of all three seasons on a single list. But I don't really know how to sort out the that wall of text at the top and merge those three infoboxes... It would be so nice of you if you can do something about it or offer some advice on how best to sort that out....
Sure! I think you could make a Release heading and sub-headings for Season 1, Season 2 and Season 3 and then move the content from top there.
About infoboxes - images can display as a gallery with tabs to switch between the images. The bigger problem is the content. If I'd do it, I would put "OreGairu" in the title, make a new section for season titles with a list of them, and just merge the rest. For example, in original run we can write "April 4, 2013 – June 27, 2013 (Season 1)", below "April 2, 2015 – June 25, 2015 (Season 2)" etc. I can do that and show how I did everything.
Dyson didn't reply to the message, but if they do, I'll also help with anything they request. We made/will make some minor fixes and edits when we see something that needs it, but the wiki is in great shape and doesn't need some radical makeover. Just let us know when something like that infobox needs changes :)
By the way, I'll reorganize the episodes list a bit now, because I think that might be more clear for readers. But if you don't like it, feel free to rollback the edit.
I'm a Wiki Manager in the Anime Vertical. I assist local staff with wikis and I serve as a direct contact to Fandom. I can help with anything you need, including CSS, templates, wikitext, any social or technical issues.
Feel free to contact me anytime about anything. I'll go through the wiki as well from time to time, to check if anything needs fixing/attention. I'm looking forward to working on the wiki with you.
I apologize for my inactivity, I've changed job in January and as a result I've less time to spend on wiki editing.
As you've said, since both you and I seem to be busy nowadays, I agree that this wiki needs more admins to help manage the site. However I think any candidates should have spend at least 2-3 weeks here and had a made some decent edits before they can be consider. That way we can see how they interact with other users on the wiki and allows time for us to evaluate their contributions.
As season 3 of the anime has been announced, this wiki will soon be active again and I think we should only grant admin rights to those who deserves it. In my opinion, currently only Frostvalor deserves to be granted admin status.
But if Toji-san just wanted to work on the CSS and the design of the wiki then I suppose we can consider giving him temporary admin status for a few days. Permanent admin status should only be earned by more contributions.
But that's just my opinion, I will leave the final decision to you.
Hi! I suggest you update Template:Navbox to Lua version available here. This version is much better than existing one because it has no limitations + has no bugs. It won't require Template:ColorLink to change navbox title color. I implemented it on Hyouka Wiki, see example here. Beside new module, you'll need to change Template:Navbox and add Template:Vdelinks and CSS from MediaWiki:Wikia.css. Feel free to copy it from Hyouka Wiki, however, don't forget to tune color scheme defined in CSS.
Hi! I want to inform you that I have now bot User:FrostvalorBot, so I can do some automated tasks which is bothersome to do manually. However, before that you or Dyson14444 need to contact FANDOM so they can give it "Bot" flag here. After my bot will get that flag, you can write on my message wall what do you want to be done, and my bot will do it.
The removal was because we already had an image of the Volume 13 cover. Someone (ME SORRY) only added it to the Volume 13 page and forgot to add it to the overview page.
The only thing that is restricted to admins is the moving or renaming of the page. Feel free to write the synopsis for volume 13 if you can, but since it will be a translation from somewhere try and keep it coherant. I usually just write whatever was on the back of the novel.
