I thought it was well done. They got in all the usual suspects. The Service Club continues.
I was ready for it, but of course I would love to see an Iroha, Komachi, and more continuance, but alas.
Hiratsuka-sensei’s hair is still crazy long!
I read somewhere that Season 3 will end at Volume 14 at the novel? Is that true? Also At the end of Volume 14 they are 3rd Year students right? Then I also read somewhere that Watari-sensei is gonna write a short continuation or something about them being in their 3rd Year? Does that mean it's a Sequel/canon or just some random stuff? Also 1 more thing IIRC Watari-sensei also wrote Quilidea Code and Girlish Number. Are there any news if he is planning on writing something new?

So what does everyone think of S3 so far?
Hiki seems more comfortable hanging out with other people now. The current trajectory is very harem, but enjoyable. The undercurrent of sadness fills me as I watch it, though.
Some characters (hachiman, yukino , komachi) got their names from places in Kamakura
Kamakura is a city in Kanagawa Prefecture
the places are
Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine
From what i have dug up, Yukinoshita is a location in Kamakura city, where Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine and Komachidori are located.
So there we have it.
I apologize for the rather messy information. I found all this stuff on the Chinese forums and it took some time for me to get their English names right.
Note:I am not sure if this a piece of information is available on this wiki (i couldn't find it ) so i posted this here, I was hoping someone could add this piece of information to the wiki

So I rewatched the entire two seasons in anticipation for season 3 and I think I understood everything that's happening now. Hikigaya being a social suicide guy who hurts himself everytime he does that but doesn't care about it, Yui and Yukino who hate him for hurting himself and lying to himself who then fight, the teacher telling Hikigaya to understand himself and his problems to reach a solution, then the whole crying thing about him wanting something genuine where everyone is open about themselves and then Yukino has her problem of copying her sister and relying on others instead of standing up for herself.
But like they're 18. Hikigaya being someone who sacrifices himself makes no sense since he has no relationship with anyone technically and you'd have to be basically Buddha to think like that. Yukino has the problem of copying her sister and relying on others despite being free(as the second child) but her sister doesn't ever outright talk to her about it. Hell no one in her family does even though they all supposedly know about it. Yui is actually the only one who's acting her age because all she wants is to have friends and fall in love normally. Her trying to get with the Hayama group is still the same and nothing about her has ever changed. Then there's the rest of the cast who are unnecessarily mean. I mean nobody ever calls someone a creep on their face or even honestly thinks like that unless they've personally hurt you. Usually it's just "oh it's a random dude".
The part about people forming groups is absolutely correct and people using you for their ends and then ignoring you is also correct. But everything else seems a bit too ridiculous? I mean wtf is that logic that you're not genuine. You'd have to be blood related and lived together for years to ever come clean to anyone. And even then you will guaranteed not do it fully (like with your own family). Yukino and Hikigaya hate liars who put on a facade but that's what pleases everyone. You can't act all "genuine" with your boss or with a coworker because then you'll actually be a creep. There's no way to change that. Seriously the idea was great but they went overboard somewhere and took it too far.
While it makes me happy to see "girlfriend: " and "boyfriend: " entries on Hachiman and Yukino's bio, maybe it would be better not to spoiler anime-only fans. For that matter, the last volume is still being translated by Spyro and some are waiting until the whole thing done and edited & made into e-book before reading which will be in less than two weeks at furious pace that mad lad is going
